Deciding to take up therapy can feel like a daunting and uncertain step. If you are suffering in some way, or if something just doesn't seem right in you, I offer a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore whether therapy is something you think might be helpful for you at this time in your life.
About Me
Many different reasons can bring someone to therapy. It may be you want things to be different, but feel stuck and unable to change. Perhaps you have suffered from trauma, abuse, or loss. You may be going through a difficult transition. If you feel overwhelmed, terribly unhappy, or alone, then talking with a professional can help. My focus is on your emotional wellbeing. I provide a safe and confidential space to think and talk about things together. Whether your problems are rooted in the past or something more recent, I believe long lasting change is possible by exploring the underlying meaning of your thoughts and feelings, behaviour, and relationships with others. A psychodynamic approach focuses on assisting you to work through dynamics that might be keeping you in a way of being that is inhibiting or painful, so that you can come alive and reach your potential in life. Simply call or email me to discuss further to to book an initial consultation.
